I have done a lot of knotwork, so I don't know if they are simple, but I know some people who train with them & they are pretty good now. This is the basic, with that, you can do anything after, it's just a matter of time.

Good tutorial, but I would change the title from "Celtic illumination" to "Celtic Interlacing" as your tutorial is about interlacing (technical term for knot-working, as you're also not really tying knots) rather than illumination, which refers to the application of metal leaf onto paper to catch light, thus illuminating the page.

I know I know... I really want to put celtic illumination, but I don't find the time to continue this tutorial, this was just a first approach.
